We pride ourselves on being a community focused organization. That means your opinion really does matter!

We would love to get to know you better and make sure we are serving you in the best way possible. So we have created a survey for feedback.

If you could spare a few minutes of your time to complete the survey we would be most grateful. Please also share this with your WYASO teams, too.

You don’t have to have AS to participate in the survey. This is a survey for everyone in our community, and that includes the friends and family of those with AS.

We will also be sending out a small gift as a token of our appreciation to those that choose to receive it.

It’s Official!

It is our pleasure to inform you that Walk AS One has received the determination letter granting 501c3 status. This means donations are now  tax deductible (for residents of  the United States). Non-profit status opens up a lot of doors for us. We can now do things we have planned, so that we can serve you, the Ankylosing Spondylitis community. This means more awareness, more of a global community voice, and potentially more research.

This has been a long time coming and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has given their time to help us achieve everything we have done so far. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We’d also like to thank everyone who bid on items in our (not so) silent auction. We are very pleased with the support and the kindness shown by everyone who donated and bid on items. If you won an item and haven’t received payment instruction yet, please let us know by emailing info@walkasone.org.

What next?

We are already busy making plans for the 2017 Walk Your AS Off awareness event. If you have any feedback or suggestions of how we can make 2017 the best one yet, we’d love to hear from you. We believe in you!

You, yes you right there, are the reason we do all of this. You inspire us to want to do more. But to do more we also need your help. Walk AS One is an all-volunteer organization. No one is paid a single penny or cent for their time. In order to ‘reach for the stars’ and achieve everything we all want to, we need your help. More specifically, we need your time. We would love to have you as a volunteer if you think you can spare any time whatsoever. It can be an hour a week, or an hour month. The amount does not matter; what matters is your drive to help the AS community. If you’d like to volunteer let us know your skills and what you are willing to help us with, as well as the amount of time you can spare. As you’ve probably guessed, to do so all you need to do is email us at info@walkasone.org.

Not So Silent Auction to Benefit Walk AS One

We are holding a (not so) silent auction! Everyone loves a good auction. Here’s your chance to pick up something wonderful and unique while also helping to raise money for Walk AS One.

We are also accepting donations from the community to auction off. So if you have a piece of art, an unused gift card, an item still in its original packaging, a vacation spot you could donate for a weekend or week, or anything else you thing would make a great auction item, then we’d love to have your support!

The deadline for submitting auction items is the 30th of September.

All items will be subject to a $5 shipping and handling charge for residents in the United States. If bidding from outside the United States, higher charges will apply, dependent on the country you live in.

When is it?

Bids will be accepted from the 1st – 12th of October 2016.

Where is the auction?

Online! We have created an event through our Facebook page. This is the direct link.

How do I bid?

Each item will have a unique ID number. Simply tell us the item number and your bid amount. You can do so in two ways.

1. You can leave this in the comments on the Facebook Page.
2. Send us a private message with the details.
